Chef Du Jour | Mike & Debbie Natoli, Best of Philly Cheesesteak House

You Don’t Have to Travel 1,000 Miles to Get the Best Philly Cheesesteak, They are Right Here!

They prepare every meal as if it were their own. They use only the highest quality ingredients and the Amoroso rolls are transported straight from Philadelphia. Only the best will do for Mike & Debbie Natoli and their cheesesteak-loving customers!

Mike has always loved the food industry. He started working in a grocery store, then spent more than two decades in his own catering business. That is, until November 2005, when the opportunity presented itself to purchase The Best of Philly Cheesesteak House in Woodgate Plaza on Seven Springs Blvd in New Port Richey. Mike & Debbie’s passion for food, their love of cheesesteak sandwiches and their desire to own and operate a great restaurant, resulted in success for everyone involved…especially their very satisfied customers.

Authenticity is key to the perfect “mouth watering “cheesesteak sandwich. Soft, Amoroso Rolls – exactly the same as used in Philly – support most of the sandwiches constructed at Best of Philly Cheesesteak House. It’s not just their signature sandwich that rocks! Their most popular cheesesteak continues to be the” Florida,” made with lots of cheese, steak, mushrooms, onions and sweet peppers. However, other customer faves include the chicken cheesesteak, the “Sloppy” cheesesteak and their newest creation, the pizza cheesesteak, which puts a new, tasty spin on the traditional pizza pie.

Mike & Debbie have designed a variety of cheesesteaks, hoagies, and sandwiches and will prepare anything you order exactly the way you want it. Their next most popular offerings include “Parmesan” sandwiches: chicken parmesan, meatball Parmesan and sausage & peppers parmesan.

Craving a good burger? The juicy, ½ pound burgers at The Best of Philly Cheesesteak House  are cut in half to fit perfectly on the Amoroso Roll, and are dressed with shredded lettuce and sliced tomato. But as with any of their sandwiches, you dictate what ingredients and condiments are used to build your perfect burger.

It’s all about customer satisfaction for the Natoli’s. “I’ve always enjoyed working in the food business. I love talking to the customers, and talking sports with them. I get to see so many people every day. People are usually in a good mood when they come in for a cheesesteak.” Mike continues, “Most of our customers leave saying, ‘It was delicious, as usual.’ We love to hear that over and over and over again!”

The Natoli’s have lived in the same home in the same neighborhood in New Port Richey for 21 years. Surprisingly, they still have many of the same neighbors as when they moved in! This has allowed them to forge great relationships and genuine friendships. “We love it here and wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. People here have a strong sense of pride for their neighborhood and keep the area well kept,” Mike commented.
