Chasco Fiesta 2022 Celebrates it’s 100th Year

As Chasco Fiesta 2022 Celebrates it’s 100th Year in New Port Richey, Fl. we invite you to attend the many events planned over the 10 day celebration. With amazing food and fun for the whole family, and the best weather to enjoy the beauty of downtown New Port Richey and Sims Park, Chasco Fiesta is your Spring Event.

Street Parades, Boat Parades and the Carnival rides are highlights of the festival, but there is so much more. 3/27 is the Chasco Car, Truck and Bike Show and on 3/29 is the Chasco Fiesta Bowling Tournament. Then there is the Greater Pasco Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament on 4/1 and the Race For Inclusion at the Chasco Fiesta, 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run on 4/2. But the music, let’s talk about the music festival portion of the event.

The not to be missed music line up for Chasco Fiesta’s concert series is a celebration all it’s own. Starting with JoyFM Family night 3/25 with the Grammy nominated Rhett Walker Band. Next the ONLY show to have ever received “Official Authorization” to perform the Eagles catalog of music, Southern California’s Legendary, Hotel California – A Salute to the Eagles will perform A Tribute to Rock on 3/26. On 3/27, The Bay Area Showcase line up features Odyssey Road – a Journey Tribute Band with renowned music artist on stage. The Embry Brothers Band – Be Good, Be Kind, Be Happy and Rock On. The Peyton Monarch Band – featuring legendary Michael Monarch, the original guitarist “Steppenwolf”. Last by not least is the Moses Greyhound Band – their versatile lineup includes everything from rock and roll, country & bluegrass, southern rock and rhythm & blues.

Native American music night on 3/28 features the play, The Spirit of the River which speaks to everyone to tell the history of New Port Richey. Shelly MorningSong & Fabian Fontanelle, Native American tradition & contemporary songwriter, singers, dancers, storytellers. World renowned Lowery Begay who has been dancing, storytelling and playing the Native Flute professionally for over 15 years.

Voted “Best in the Bay” as the Best Local Soul/R&R/Funk act in the Tampa Bay area, The Black Honkey’s will be performing 3/29. on 3/30 Schoolhouse Jazz performances include the High School Jazz Band and award winning local band, Phase 5. Bluesmasters is on stage 3/31 with Derek St. Holmes, an American musician, best known as the vocalist and rhythm guitar player for Ted Nugent’s early solo career. Also performing is critically-acclaimed songwriter & artist Julie Black with Dave Eichenberger, an innovative guitarist & composer.

The Premier Chicago Tribute Band will be on stage 4/1 for the 80’s Rock music night along with REO/Survivor. on 4/2 Today’s Country features Chase Bryant, and opening for Chase Bryant is special guest Drew Baldridge. The Crossfire Creek Band is another local 5-pc New Country/Top 40 Country band based out of Tampa/Clearwater with its unique flare and one of a kind performances.

Ending the Chasco Fiesta Music Fest on 4/3 is Night Ranger, brought to you by our own Ruth Eckerd Hall on the Road Presents. Having sold over 17 Million albums worldwide, performed across more than 4000 stages, and captivated a radio audience that exceeds 1 Billion, Night Ranger has both multi-platinum and gold album status. What a way to end an exceptional 10 days of music concerts at Chasco Fiesta.

Chasco Fiesta Native American schedule

The Chasco Native American Festival provides authentic Native American Dancing and Educational programs. Entertainment is continuous throughout the 10 days of Chasco Fiesta. This year, the program includes World Champion Hoop Dancing, Aztec Fire Dancers, Alligator wrestling and a reptile demonstration, a Native American Music Award winning singer/songwriter featuring world class American drummers and dancers from many tribal backgrounds.

Don’t miss the exciting programs and shopping opportunities from Native American arts and craft booths. To celebrate 100 years of this Native American themed festival, on the first Monday of the festival, performers will take center stage at the amphitheater with dramatic performances which will be offered FREE to all attendees. All other days require a $5.00 entry fee which includes full Fiesta event access. Children 12 and under are always free.
